Probably for the first time ever i have started xmas shopping early. How many people leave everything to the last minute! What is the most stupid xmas pressie you ever recieved? Mine was a giant connect 4 game, 10 foot high and 14 feet across!

I always wait too long. Perhaps yourstupid gift was meant to be fun. This year I am giving everyone a kazoo and a deed to an acre of land under the Pacific. Last year I gave them clocks that play tunes. My husband threw the one that played Rudolph the red etc. ever hour on the hour 24 hours a day---away. He has no sense of humor. After all, there should be some fun in Christmas. One of my friends is getting a new coloring book and crayons. she likes to color (she's 60)

I've booked some time off work at the end of November to get some serious Christmas shopping done! Until then, I'm not even going to think about it! I can't really think of any crazy Christmas present I've had in the past. I did have some Japanese style foam flip flops to be worn when painting your toe nails!

when i remember the queues later on, i think doing it early is the best idea. You end up buying people what they might like, rather than what's left or something just for the sake of it.
all gifts are appreciated- it's the thought that counts, but most stupid present had to be a pair of size 7 shoes as i'm a size 5.

My partner leaves it to the last minute and wonders why he can't get what he is after! am lucky can't think of a really stupid Christmas pressie - yours sounds extreme though!

never heard of crimbo...but yes, CHRISTMAS IS COMING. i usually wait till the last minute, but hate shopping to start with, i don't want to spend money on things that people don't really want. so I need a better idea of what to give...

I have started my shopping too, I don't like leaving it too the last minute. The worst present was a really horrible jumper.

i have 2 tiny things in lol i usually leave it til the last minute but im doing the rest next month for this year, the stupidist thing i ever recived was a new christmas tree lol my mum baught me that lol
