save any used half lemons and rub all over like a scouring pad. the lemon oil makes it smell good and the crome shiny.
also switching to liquid soap (shower gels etc) help cause wax is in bar soap which causes the build up and traps water also which allows the mold to grow..

I like straight white vinegar (or 50/50 with water) best but if it doesn't work for you get some ammonia and follow the directions but use gloves and plenty of ventilation. A steamer works really well if you know anyone with one.

There is a product called Krud Kutter available at Walmart. It works great and you can use it almost anywhere. Shower stalls, doors, outlets, glass shower doors, etc.
