was on in uk years ago, maybe as far as 20 years! it was american. at the beginning of the show it always said - "living in a garage...."
i'm sure the main character had an eagle of some kind of big bird.

that really is all i remember but the "living in a garage" comes into my head from time to time!!!!

was actual people, not a cartoon. the main charachter was an older guy i think.

Boy! I don't remember anything about a garage. But I agree with the other answerer, that Sesame Street had a big bird.

I believe the programme you may be looking for is "mysterious cities of gold", that was on years ago and that had a story line around a golden eagle on which the kids used as an airoplane/airship to get to different cities looking for gold!!! hope this helps.

It wasn't stop it and tidy up was it. With the big bad I said NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Behave and bequiet were bees which could be remembered as birds.
