So you've noticed that people smell different that live in different parts of the world. It is true. I recently moved from Indiana, USA, to Shanghai, China. I have noticed a difference in body odor and other things that I am too lady-like to mention. I believe it all revolves around water. The food here also tastes a little different from what we have in the US. Vegetables that we grow in the US have a slightly different taste here, as does the Coca Cola which is bottled here with the local water. It may also have something to do with the soil that the crops are grown in. Needless to say, it is what you eat, but it boils down to the water and soil. We definitely are what we eat.

Because of different cultural standards on how frequently one should bathe, what kinds of perfumes or deodorizers you should use to cover up natural body odors, etc.

In a multi-racial environment like in the United States, however, you'll find that they all pretty much smell the same because everyone shares the same hygiene values.

But then, you weren't really looking for a serious answer to this question, were you? I hope you have the opportunity to get out of the your country at least once in your life, pal.

Uh, my friend Kasey is Latina. She smells like burnt hair, she is always straightening it, without using heat protectant. Stop putting people on a pedestal. Smelling bad/good is not because you come from a certain race. If you choose not to bathe you will smell, if you do, you won't. Its as simple as that. Edit; Nope, she is not Afro Latina. Are you trying to imply that only Latinas who are of African descent smell bad? I never really liked you to begin with... Black people smell 100 x better than Latinas.

the smell a person gives off is usually from the food they eat. Its common for an Indian person to smell like curry, or a korean person to smell like kimchi, its all in the their diet
