You can find more Americans who know who Hillary Clinton is than can tell you there are fifty stars on the American flag if you asked them how many stars are on the American flag.
That's how popular Hillary Clinton is. Now, I can also tell you that that is important in an election. It's not enough to be known by part of the country. It's important that the whole country knows you by name. Mark Warner just dropped out of the dem president race a few weeks ago. Nobody even knows who he is. People of Virginia know him by name very well. Because he was governor there. A very good governor by any measure. But nobody else knows him.

Popularity and electability are not necessarily the same thing. Yes she got elected in NY but had to move to a State she wasn't even living in to get that election.
The disgust with the Bush administrations I & II and the love hate of the Clinton administration I believe that it's time for the US to dump both into the history books and move one to a new President that has ties to neither one.

Hilary is well educated and very smart. How ever
I don' think the USA is ready for it's first women president.
Bill would a great First Man though.LOL
The thought just doesn't sit well with me and I believe I am open minded, so I guess there is no way in '08.

I think a lot of women around the world want America to have a woman president... But America can come up with a much better candidate than Hilary... I also think the news media is trying to push her off on us so that the republicans will win again.

For the first woman president I would hate for it to be her. I can not stand her. For some reason I always grew up and thought she was a lesbian and that her marriage was a scandal just for political power, especially when the Lewinsky thing came out. It made me think more about my thoughts when I was younger. Yep, I really can't stand her. She's like a man :/

hilary is very popular to the extent that the GOP can't just ignore her...despite the fact that there is no official statement from her yet that she is aiming the presidency 2008...republicans are now nervous coz they know that she could win, but of course they don't want her win.

I am wondering what Americans think about the 60% yes, 26% no and 13% don't care result. On the other hand Americans don't really care about what other people think as long as they have enough cheap gas to drive their "impress the neighbour" car around.

Honestly, I don't know if America is ready to elect a woman president. It's a shame, it really needs to be done. Centuries have proven women to be great leaders, and we sure could use one right now! If Hilary were to run for president, I'd vote for her in a heartbeat. In fact, I'd campaign for her too, and I'm a republican. I think she is a great leader.

I'd place her somewhere between Howard Stern and Syphilis in popularity
