The best films without doubt are either...
The Godfather
Goodfellas
or Casino
Admittedly there is an occuring theme there, but that all had the same 3 things in common
Great Cast
Great Director
Great Plot
And thats all you need for a great movie...
I saw a few have put Titanic?!?! that was the biggest pile of dribble ever to soil my eyes.
You titanic nuts would probably love the 'sequal' which was in negotiation about 2-3 years ago, where jack aparently didn't die, rose joined the nurses in ww1 and met jack although he sadly lost all memory of the events on the titanic...
Thats 100% true outline plot of a proposed sequal a few years back.

My favourite film is Some Like It Hot because it is a great comedy classic. Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon make it what it is and only Tony and Jack could get away with dressing up as women in the 50s and, in my opinion, Ms Monroe's finest performance.

The Lord of the Rings...pure genius filmmaking and kept with the story very well considering time constaints. That movie would have been like 24 hours long rather than the 12 1/2 it is now.

That's a pretty ambitious question to ask! There are just so many in the world, you're sure to get about a million different answers! I don't really have a favorite, but I guess if someone pointed a gun to my head and made me choose, I'd say "The Iron Giant". It always satisfies.

I have several favourite films, i of course have ones that remind me of my childhood such as The Goonies, Return to Oz etc however the classic, but much dated "Clash of the Titans" is still my hands down favourite, they do not make them like they used to!!
