Both, If they for the war (WWI WWIIetc..) the show more or the positive side of the war(IE town liberated, soldiers giving food to the poor etc....) If not they show soldier atrocities and display the daily body count.

The media can run the country,because the majority of the people are stupid and beleive anything they hear especially if it ids repeated enough times. The few intelligent people are powerless to compete
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE PRESS.
