I'm asking yesterdays question in a different, less provocative way-

A man sees a homeless peroson from a distance. As he approches, he sees he is a different colour and race to himself. Based purely on the grounds of the mans colour he:
1. Gives him money for food
2. Beats him up.

thumbs up for having the balls to ask a race related question.

they are both kinda racist because the motive for both actions is inspired by the color of the homeless mans skin.

if you didnt tell us his motives it would be a harder question, people would assume number 2 is the racist act

He started approaching before he saw the skin colour. he was going to do something anyway, so it doesnt matter. He is cool if he gives the money, if he beats him up, the man being homeless becomes irrelevant. He would have been beated up anyway.

they would both be racist if it were strickly due to the fact that they were a different race. you should never beat someone up, unless its out of self defense, and if you gave him money for food, it should have been because he was hungry, not because he was a helpless person of a different race. you would know if you were being racist.

Both are racist, he made a judgement on the colour of someones skin not on the circumstances of the beggars situation.

Both are racist (there're no degrees of racism - you either are or not).

Besides, you already said that it is "based purely on the grounds of the man's colour".

I would say both acts are racist. But you havn't said what race the first man was, apparently it makes a difference!

They are both racist.
I think its quite obvious.Doing anything, charity or anger on the basis of their color is purely racist.
