I love my Badgers, but they just haven't beaten anybody.
They lost to the only ranked team they played, 27-13 to Michigan. While that wasn't a "bad" loss (they led at halftime), they never seriously threatened in the second half.

They should beat the hell out of Illinois this weekend, which might boost them up to 15th, but the next two weeks will be telling. They take on Penn State, then Iowa (before finishing with the rent-a-gamers from Buffalo).

But yeah, Stocco is a solid passer, and PJ Hill is a stud (242-pound freshman!?).

i think of it quite is a down 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for the large 10 so no longer unavoidably. besides the shown fact that, final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, repeatedly, the so-stated as analysts might vote Duke (one among my communities) #a million after which say they do no longer seem to be the ideal team interior the country. So, i might take my #a million with a grain of salt. in my view, the ideal team interior the country--win or lose--must be the #a million ranked team. who's #a million? i do no longer recognize. there is distinctive stable basketball being performed precise now. i think of anybody interior the precise 10 has a valid shot of triumphing the NCAA adventure.

They will always be under-rated and under-appreciated as the football giant they have become. This is probably due to their small market (state population) with most media coverage given to the large market areas. Also they carry the "stigma" of not having a roster filled with lunatics and "glory boys" who constantly make the news(be it good or bad). They play as a team. With the possible the exception of Iowa, they should bulldoze through the remainder of their schedule and finish in the top 10.

Yes, the Badgers are my favorite team too. They haven't really played anyone except Michigan, who they lost to, so they aren't going to be ranked very high. They do rock though.

No I'm afraid they're not.

No one should take them lightly, but they're no threat to win a national title.

There's only room for 10 teams in the top 10.
