Men need to chase (work) females to get their attention usually. Women get too much attention on a daily basis from multiple men.
It empowers females to a degree, because there are always many choices.
I do not feel empowered, just fortunate.

I don't think it's necessarily a good thing to be "empowered over men". An equal playing field is always better. Men you can just bowl over get boring real real quick.

When a guy tries to hurt my feelings and it doesn't faze me at all. But that would apply to anyone not just men. It's amazing how often guys try to cut into females.
