There is no such thing as a bad person, it is there actions that are bad. If we weigh their whole lifetime bad and good deeds and the bad out weighs the good, then whose decision is it? And for that matter who knows a person's whole lifetime of deeds? Only the person knows that. People commit murder, steal, lie, etc., but their whole life could have been a model citizen and they just snapped. At one point everyone is good and bad, which is more or less no one really knows. It is hard to tell. If someone is doing bad things as a habit, it becomes habitual, like a habitual liar, thief, murderer, etc., they have a habit they cant break for they are probably suffering from a psychosis and they have an illness. To just periodically steal from a grocery store and show off or do it for kicks that is an immature personality that is very insecure and they are also unbalanced. Yes they may be doing bad but are they a bad person entirely? I would not judge that, and I dont think anyone can. They are just like a car that was made and primed just like the rest but we call it a lemon because it never worked quite right, we can return a lemon but not a person so consider the options? And then weigh the rest.

There is no such thing as a bad person. We can only say that the person has done a bad thing. By that yardstick all persons are innately good and do bad things at times.

Take the person who has a family of small kids. he is unemployed and cannot even feed his children a meal. He "'steals" money and feeds his small kids .
Then you have the man who is addicted and after drugs. He , too, "steals" to get what he wants. Both are stealing . Are both bad or one bad and the other good?

So, we need only to say that to do a good thing he did a bad action. he is not a bad person.

Behavior, a person can look bad and be a great person.
I define a bad person as someone who is very selfish and tends to hurt people around them for no reason other than they enjoy it.

physical appearance does not show whether one is good or bad in any way ! things one does, ways of action, and a general picture of his/her life show partly whether someone is a good or bad person. and i say partly, because there are always reasons why someone does something. you have to know them first, and then come to any conclusion.

it is not necessarily the bad act, it is the intent to do bad. a small child can do "bad" things without the associated "evil" intent. similarly a mentally ill person, or one under the influence of drugs can perform a "bad" act unintentionally with out rationally meaning harm.

i define a bad person as one who willfully sets out to create harm.
