according to wiki at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrazzo goats milk was originally used as sealer/polish. i doubt you want to go that route. today marble and granite is available to the middle class and you will find good grade polish where granite counter tops are sold.

why would you seal stone? to preserve the surface of course as marble and granite are actually quite porous (dirt will embed, water will soak in and discolor and decay). just go to the counter top people and they will have just what you need. easy application. Terrazzo looks great.

well, when i had the same problem i went into a store and asked and they gave me stuff that is used for treating tombstones and grave slabs LOL. it worked fine - two bottles, one for cleaning the dirt first, one for sealing the surface and making it glossy
