Since it is close to Halloween, I was just wondering if anybody has ever been in a place known to be haunted and seen a REAL ghost? I stayed in a hotel that was supposedly haunted once, and desribed to the owners what I had seen. The owners told me others had seen the same thing. They, too, believed the hotel to be haunted (it was built in the 1880's).

So, who here has seen a REAL ghost, and WHERE?

I have seen plenty of Ghosts in my lifetime.....Every house my grandma lives in is haunted. One house had a family of Ghosts, They would change tv shows, open windows, move fruit around, open cabinet doors. stuff like that. We got used to it and just told them to stop.. lol. Another house, I was going to the basement to get a load of laundry done and when i reached the bottom of the stairs I saw this ghost carrying a laundry basket clear across the room now that was freaky. The next day i went to the bathroom and saw this middle age woman laying in the bath tub washing her hair. Scared the pee right out of me. I dont mind seeing ghosts, its just odd that we share our house with them.

Ive lived in two places that were haunted, and even though they weren't nasty, I wouldn't recommend it. There's always stuff going wrong, usually with water and electrical. The weirdest and most common one was when an old floor model TV kept turning ON at weird times of the day, rarely at night. It had no sleep timer because it was very old and you needed to walk over and push a button to turn it on. There was no explanation for it, and while it was a fairly benign thing to have happen, it really creeped us out!

Other things would happen too, like the smell of baking even though the oven hadn't been used for days. Footsteps were also a pain because you would think it was a person (and people are scarier than ghosts), but no one was there.

Now that I saw your pic, yep, hi king tut:)

Seriously, I havent seen one, but felt the presence. I was staying at a dorm in college, and there were few weekends when I'd stay alone in the dorm by myself. I was at the uppermost floor, and the penthouse is where the owner stays. So, during those weekends, I would hear noises like walking, pulling of chair, cooking, etc. as if there are people upstairs. Only to find out before I moved out that every weekends, the owner goes home too; ergo, I have been ALL ALONE in that building for so many times. So what are those noises I heard? Who knows?

No I have never seen a ghost and hope I do someday, but I have seen things that can not be explained. I'm pretty sure I've seen a guardian angel and I believe spirits are around us all the time.

I thought I saw an entity as a child but can't be sure. I was playing in my front yard and a large man dressed in something from another time all of a sudden appeared under a tree. He looked like a real person and I did go over and say "Hi" but he did not answer. He turned and walked away into a wooded area that was in the backyard. I followed him but he was just gone.

When i was 11 my grandma had a heart attack so we called the ambulance to get her and while they was taking her she was yelling if i die in hospital she was coming back to haunt my dad and she died the next day when we buried her 3 days later she was there her chair rocked back and forth the kettle use to blow at 600 in morn the TV use to turn to the daytime story she watched but the clincher was she had these extra set of false teeth my mom throwed them away in the garbage and the truck hauled them away they were back the next day on the table. so we sold the house and the people that bought it invested alot of money fixing it up before the moved in the day they were going to move there furniture in it burnt to the ground all was left was the foundation.

Williard Library" here in town has a ghostcam. It's known nationwide. Go to graylady.com ..............Now for my Ghost story:.............
Sadly, A month after I divorced my ex he killed himself. About a year later, I swear, he came and sat on my bed and talked to me. Just like in "The 6th Sense: Talk to her when she's asleep. then she can hear you."
I couldn't remember any of the things I had so badly wanted to ask him. He assured me all my dreams would come true for me. He would be my angel and see to it. And you know, he did!
My whole family has been psychic forever. I never believed any of it until years of these kind of these things kept happening to me.
Almost any of us can learn the automatic /spirit writing. Just stay clear of drugs (the spirits have trouble working through the fog of even pot). Good luck. - Saff

My parents house is haunted. You see a shadow of a person out of the corner of your eye, hear someone moving around in the attic or basement. I've even heard my parents bedroom window break but, it wasn't broken. Used to scare me to death when I was younger.

I see and feel ghosts around me all the time. usually at home, they come to me. sometimes they're cool, like the one who made me hot chocolate every morning for a week, no kidding. my husband's deceased pop visited me not long before nanna came over from nz. i didn't know who it was at first, but when i described what i had seen and felt to my husband (i kept getting an initial 'r' in my mind, like for ronald or something, and i knew that wasn't the guy's first name) he showed my a pic of his pop, and it turned out his middle name was roland. then one afternoon, i was home alone when i heard a voice say "it looks like rain" but there was no sign of rain at all, but i took the washing off the line anyway, and sure enough, 20 mins later it POURED! on the flip side, i did have one who was fond of throwing candles at me, big fat lit ones. i got rid of him pretty fast.
