I don't know about these "stamps" your refering to. However check out paypal. It links into your bank account, you don't need a credit card. A wide majority of companies accept payment by paypal and it's safe.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

In Ireland there's another option called 3V vouchers, they are disposable prepaid VISA debit numbers printed onto a receipt and are bought just like buying mobile top-up. They can be used to shop on the Internet, over the phone or by mail order anywhere VISA is accepted.

A Scottish company, Lights Out Limited, have come up with another idea, where when you find what you want to buy online, you ring them and they deduct the amount from your phone bill. I'm not sure however if this has gone live or not.

In your preferred search engine use a search term like "purchase online without a credit card" (remove the quotes) and you'll get some results.

You can use a debit card on most websites. Most say you can pay by either debit/credit card. Debit cards are different from credit cards, they are your own money from your own account.
But only use well trusted big brand websites to ensure your details stay safe.
The payment system is exactly the same as a credit card, you provide your name, card type and account number when you place an order. The company will deduct what you owe them within a couple of days of payment. There is no interest on what you order, maybe an extra two or three pound for post and packaging.

Try these websites.

www.amazon.co.uk or www.amazon.com (You can follow a link to your own country.)

www.tesco.co.uk or www.tesco.com

I don't have a credit card, but I do have a debit card that works online. I also have a Paypal account which I set up through eBay. You can use Paypal for transactions with other websites, not just eBay. I try to use that for all my online shopping. Have done loads and so far it's worked fine. You pay with Paypal and then Paypal automatically takes the money from your bank account.

i think of u can in easy terms pay with a credit card or PayPal that's like on line money that u can develop into real money every time u choose by way of putting it in ur economic employer account. PayPal is maximum ordinarily used with Ebay bills and customers. they might have that and in the event that they dont then confident u choose a credit card or a recent card would artwork too.

if you want to buy something off the net then you go to the store and you buy a credit card gift card and type it in the computer like if you go to e bay some places have e bay gift cards at gas stations or if not buy a visa or master card gift card and it works just the same online as a regular credit card and is much safer

Amazon, eBay and well, most ecommerce allow you to print and fill out an order form and send a money order for payment. Kroger sells prepaid Visas in increments of 25, 50, 100 and 200. UPS sells American Express in increments up-to 500 bucks. I use a Mastercard from Western Union. Just go to Western Union on the net and fill out your name and address and they will mail you a Mastercard. Then you just go to WU and pay 9.95 one time only to activate the card. Then you just give WU money anytime you want to and it will be added to your card. Check it out for more details. good luck :-)

Get one of those pre-paid VISA cards from the post office so you can't spend more than you have put in to it and if it is stolen then most you will loose is what you put on the card.

I have never heard of a stamp system.

Well done for keeping control of you finances.

this was suggested to me on this site once, certain online stores, such as wal-mart, you can shop their online store without a credit card, debit card, or pay pal. simply go to wal-mart and get a gift card for yourself. you can put as much or as little on it, and add to it when you need to, and pay for your purchase with that. no other thing needed. maybe other big companies have online stores where you can use their gift card as well, but I have never checked that out.(like Target, Sears, JC Penny's etc)
