Hmmm... well my uncle was pretty big in the 60's, had a number 1 and had the 1st song played on Radio 1 (you can figure it out, it wasn't roy wood though)
I'd met a few, probably the only one I'd say i'd met and spoken to since is a singer/song writer called Andrew Gold (big in the 70's and did some calaboration in the 80's with Graham Gouldman) really great down to earth guy... albeit a bit american...

I know Melanie Sykes.
Met her on the Boddingtons advert shoots and went out with her for 5 months.
I met loads of her model mates but found them quite dull and self involved. None of them would get up before lunch and make me breakfast. Lazy cows.

well i work in a hotel and we get lots of famous people who visit! Cant say i KNOW them as like a friend! but when they were staying i spoke to them everday for example: Gordon Ramsay! Gordon Durie! Lots of football teams! Girls Aloud! Etc

Before Oasis (the band) were signed & unknown, I used to represent them & I sent their demo to all the major record labels ( incl Simon Cowells), no one at the time was interested, I also arranged their gigs in pubs, clubs etc.......Noel was a friend of mine at the time......

I still keep in touch with my cousin Marshall. We mostly keep in touch by phone but we were very close as children and people should not believe everything they read in the papers.
