Because in reality, everything costs something. There are consequences to actions in reality. In dreams, you can try anything, and then if you don't like it, you just wake up from the dream and forget about it, because it never happened, and nothing will be changed by it.
So for example, if you dream you are a race car driver, even if you dream you crashed, you can wake up and you are not hurt. But if in reality you are a race car driver, and you crash..then you could be a crippled mutilated person for the rest of your life.
So in reality, being defensive and careful has a lot of reward, in keeping you safe and healthy. In dreams, if you don't do anything daring, then the dream is kind of boring.

Dreaming of oneself in a dangerous or precarious position can indicate a Spiritual insecurity. When we find ourselves in dangerous circumstances in dreams, we are often reflecting the anxieties and dilemmas of everyday life. We may be conscious that our activities could be harmful to us if we carry on in the same way.
Your dream of courageousness and seeing that it is more than you would be in life may also be a warning to avoid dangerous activity.

That's easy. Anything is possible in dreams.
Bush is a brilliant politician with the ability to negotiate world peace and get through a sentence without stuttering or saying "errrrrrrrrrrrr" (i.e, in his dreams)
you get the point.....

Because it's safe. When you dream that you are falling, don't you wake up before you hit the ground? Or before you hit the ground in your dream, you all of a sudden start floating like a feather or flying off to the side....
Dreams are so COOL!!!
Seriously, our actions in our dreams are the by-product of what's going on in our subconscious (spell?).

I would say the reason for this is because in reality, we don't have the nerve or the integrety to carry out what we do in our dreams. This is unfortunate because if we did, perhaps we would live much more fulfilling lives!

because in real life, there will always be fear for what the consequences may be, and at what cost we will "dare" and "be courageous"... that's what's holding (all) us back...and that's what your dreams are trying to change...make you DARE..
