I Just opened moneymarket act with INGdirectfor someone juststarting to save was this agoodchoice?

ING Direct is an excellent choice. They're service is very good & their rates are competitive.

I also use GMAC Bank (GMACBank.com). Their rates for the past year have been better... They also have free checks & an ATM card attached to the account as well as more flexiblity electronically than ING. Having said that my mom's with ING also & it's still better than 90% of the other banks.

BTW: I found Emmigrant Direct has good rates but poor service.

ING is not a conventional bank with physical branches...They rely on e-banking and telephone..Better rates and a good bank though
