Follow this steps...
a cable to be connect from cassete output to pc input (middle blue hole)
then you open your PC sound recorder (start/all programs/ accessories/under entertainment)
then you play cassette and record in PC,
then save in PC, save with WAV. format.
then you can use a software (Musictac ??) to convert to MP3 or to burn CD

The simplest way would be to go to an audioshop and have them do it for you. It is quite inexpensive. If you want to do it yourself, converting cassettes to CD is easy if you have a combo cassette-CD player-recorder, otherwise you will have to connect the audio out of your cassette player to the audio in of a CD recorder and record it that way. To create MP3 files, you need a PC and adio recording software. You can insert the CD in the CD tray in your PC and if you have the proper software, it will be easy.. Hope this is of help.

It's really easy.
Get the free program called Audacity. There is a special download for conversion of the audio files to mp3.

Connect the line out of the tape deck to the line in of the PC. Start recording and play the tape. You can edit the audio to remove long pauses.

Do this song by song and name the recorded file.

You'll have to do a bit of work to make sure audio levels are right, and that sort of thing.

Group the songs and burn the CD
That's it.

Get Audacity below

Note about above post... Sound recorder only records 60 second tracks. Won't work for songs.

There are 2 ways for it.
1. Buy a microphone and attach to computer. play the casset near microphone and record it(from start>programs>assesaries>entertainment>sound recorder) and make a CD/MP3
2. Go to any video shop and make it.
