I was born in the 90's and so were my sisters. Being honest, I would have to say that we are a little spoiled, but we are kids and kids do get spoiled at that age of life. Plus there are so many items on the market that kids want, their parents can't take the madness so they buy it for them.

Those who were born in the 90's are definitely spoiled. I was born in the late 80's and I definitely learned the power of a dollar. I walked into the Disney store yesterday and saw all the characters that I grew up with back in the day, but now there were even more items of the little mermaid and winnie the pooh. Who really needs a tv with their favorite character on it? Just paying for the logo and character

How many things a child has or doesn't have has nothing to do with whether he is spoiled or not. That comes when parents don't teach children values and appreciation. I've known kids who have had very little who are among the most spoiled you could imagine. I assume that may be because very often the parents who are able to afford the expensive gadgets are also often the parents who teach values.

I would say there are a lot of spoiled ones. The evidence I see of this is that some high school drop-outs I work with want to get paid, but won't do their work. Just yesterday, one of them was telling me that he planned to call in sick for Friday. Hmmmm.....they have no concept of what it means to have a job. I've seen one 16-year-old's mother bring him cigarettes at work because he had forgotten them! I'm sure there are still parents who teach their children responsibility, but there are obviously less.

I dunno if they are spoiled or not...but they certainly seem to be the result of permissive parenting...they are totally self absorbed.

Well, if they are, it's the fault of the parents, not the kids. DUH!
