I'm a die-hard Bears fan and they're the only NFL team that I love, but I still can't call them America's team... most of America doesn't like them. They never used to get any coverage or attention, look at last year when they went 11-5 without an offense and Sports Illustrated picked them to finish dead last. Now they are an elite team and still people show no respect. The Cowboys used to be America's team, but I loathe them, always have. Now, I think it's safe to say the Saints are, simply based on what they went through last year with Katrina and having to play in other places, with Aaron Brooks! In the end, America's team is going down with all the rest while the Bears fulfill their destiny and win it all.

Dude... The Dallas Cowboys are America's Team, not the Bears.
And this is coming from a supporter of the Bears.
By the way, I've always liked Grossman. Even in college.
He just needed a chance. I think if he had played all last season, they would've done a bit of damage during the regular season, but you always have to play your rookie QB, don't you? lol
And by the way, I like NFL teams other than the Bears, but I'm not a nancyboy. Someone who says you can only like one team is the true nancyboy.

if I had to play the Packers twice, the Vikings twice and the Lions twice, I'd be in first place too. that 6 wins if you can manage to win 4 games that a total of 10 wins you should be in the playoffs. By the way if the Bears were such a great team they would have been in more Super bowls then just the one and other then last year it was a decade before they made the playoffs. I think the bears suck so bad that they need to play a cake schedule every year to win

Being a Canadian, I certainly am not jealous of America or Americans. A couple of years ago my niece was in Australia wearing a Canadian flag pin on her jacket and some Americans approached her and asked if she had any more that she could give them. They didn't want the Aussies to know they were from the U.S. I think Canada is a much superior country to live in. We have a much higher minimum wage, we have 2 weeks mandatory paid vacation every year, we have free medical care. Many people will say that it isn't free as we are taxed for it however the amount that is deducted from my pay cheque is minimal. I'm not saying that WE are superior but that we have a much better country to live in.

No one is jealous of the Bears...there's nothing to be jealous about...they haven't won anything since 1985. That's a long time.
I think the question is, why are YOU jealous of NFL teams that have actually gone out and won something on the field, instead of with their mouths?

The Bears are a solid 13-3 team this year, there's no question.
You'd better hope losing Mike Brown for the season doesn't kill the continuity in your defense.

Patriots right now could take the Bears, no doubt in my mind
I have been picking 80% winners in both college and nfl football, I have recorded all of the picks in an excel sheet, so I can prove my record to you. I hit 10 out of 11 on a parlay last week, the only one I lost was Louisville -17.5....they won by 15. That was a 5 dollar parlay to win 3000. This week I will hit all 11. Email me at jtabone@mail.usf.edu and I will give you my picks this weekend for free

who says the bears are america's team? thats a lie, this year it is the saints, they are going all the way because the heads of the NFL want them to just as they wanted the steelers to win last year. When have you ever seen so much hoop-la over a rebuilt stadium and a halftime show that could rival the superbowl halftime performances? Just remember in January who told you so.

There are about 10 teams in the NFL that would be undefeated if they played the Bears schedule. They're nothing special and Arizona proved it.

What a dynasty!! When's the last time they won a game that meant anything? Too bad they don't have an offense & ya gotta score some points in this league to win in the play-offs, if they even make it there.
