T: I followed you to Utah
D: We didn't find it there, so we moved on
T: I followed you to Alabam'
T: Things looked good in Birmingham
D: We didn't find it there, so we moved on

CHORUS (Both):
I know you're tired of followin'
My elusive dreams and schemes
For they're only fleeting things
My elusive dreams

T: I had your child in Memphis
T: You heard of work in Nashville
D: We didn't find it there, so we moved on

Both: And now we've left Alaska
Both: Because there was no gold mine
T: But this time, only two of us moved on
T: Now all we have is each other

My fondest memory is of "My Woman,My WOman, My Wife.".....a very romantic song.

(This is part three to the continuing story of Matt and Kitty that I began writing for your 2 past questions.)
Kitty started waking up after an evening of "pure bliss." Her eyes were a bit MISTY,as she gazed over at her darling Matt. He was still sound asleep as he started talking in a low murmur...." oh, oh,.....MY WOMAN MY WOMAN MY WIFE.....murmur,murmur."
At this point, Kitty was wide awake. She could scarely believe her ears. Yet she knew her hearing was excellent....Doc had checked them out just last week! "Oh, thank you God. My ELUSIVE DREAMS are coming true," said Kitty with her bloodshot eyes gazing upward. "At last, at last," she kept repeating, much like an old scratchy LP that's been over-used.
Matt started to wake up..."Huh....wha....somebody take the record off the turn table...it's stuck," spoke Matt as he began to stir a little. "Good morning,Cowboy," Kitty softlty said. "Oh, hello,Kitty. I just had the weirdest dream about a record with a scratch in it....next time, no Tequila at 3 A.M. for me." Kitty smiled, yet was a bit hurt by the reference to a bum record.
Matt began to get out of bed. "Hey! Where do you think YOU'RE going?" asked Kitty in a way so coy that Matt swung his head around to face her. "Well, it's sunrise, sweetie. Time for me to get up and start packing." "Start packing!!! Why? Where are you going?!!!" "Kitty, they're expecting me in EL PASO CITY. I'm suppose to testify at a trial....remember the guy from the traveling circus? You know, the guy on stilts...you remember....the Peeping -Tom?" "Oh,yes. How could I,and all the other decent women of this town, forget?" Matt smiled at the word,"decent," but kept his mouth shut. "Well, I'm needed to testify at his trial. I'll come right back afterwards." He looked at her with that strong, honest face of his....Kitty started to get a little coy, again. "Now,Kitty. You take that thought right out of your head.We haven't time."
Just then, RUBY ANN, the lady from the diner, showed up with a tray of food. "Oh,sorry Miss Kitty...Marshal Dillon...uh, have nice ....BREAKfast." Matt started to dig in...."Oh, Matt,please....just one more kiss?" Matt gave her a swift kiss that started to slow down....and......an hour later...."Matt darling,YOU GAVE ME A MOUNTAIN. Thank you! RETURN TO ME as soon as possible, you hear?" "Yes indeedy,my sweet," said Matt as he grabbed for a piece of cold toast. "I'll think of you the entire time I'm away. You know, SOME MEMORIES JUST WON'T DIE,Kitty." After they dressed, Kitty walked him out to his horse. "Well,I'm off," said the big man as he started to ride away."I'll dream of you,TONIGHT. CARMEN, let's go girl," he said to his trusty horse. As he disappeared in the early morning mist,Kitty walked slowly over to the Longbranch....muttering to herself...."There he goes again.....STORY OF MY LIFE."

I threw in 5 extra songs from Marty Robbins at the end.
