Mike H,
This is the problem with domestic disputes. People often times really don't want the help. Where is the love? LOL

Yes, if it looked like someone was really going to get hurt. No otherwise - a lot of the time the two of them reunite when someone interferes, and both attack the "interloper."

I saw a couple fighting in a park and he started getting physically abusive to her. I pulled up beside them and started yelling at the guy and told the gal to get in my car. She did and I took her home and gave her 20 bucks because she lived in a very poor neighborhood and said she depended on him for food money. I suggested she go to a woman's shelter, that it wasn't worth it staying with a guy like him. Then I left her there. I hope it turned out ok for her. That's the only time I've gotten involved, and I didn't regret it.

I did once because it seemed like the right thing to do. After, when I got out of the hospital (both people kicked the -rap out of me even though I was trying to keep them from beating on each other), I decided from then on to just call the cops.

About 8 years ago, I was at a friends house, when a man and a woman were arguing in the street and I interfered when he decided to shove her into my truck and I was like WTF, so I went to where they were and then the man got brave, through his arms up and took one too many steps towards me and without saying a word, I popped him in the nose, layed him out, blood everywhere, then his woman shouted at me "stop, your hurting him!"
I gave her the "beatbox" and left cause some old lady's voice in the darkness said "I'm calling the cops!"

Absolutely. No question. Have done it before. Did not end well, but I did right by my conscience.

hard question......

I would call the cops so they can take care of it. Stay around in case they don't get there fast enough.
