Malaysia. There are thousands of local food, thousands of fusion food and a lot (toooo many) of foreign cuisine here. Among our ordinary breakfast:
1-roti canai (fried wheat bread), indian origin become fusion. eat with curry or lentil sauce.
2-nasi lemak, original malay rice cook with coconut milk, eat with sambal (thick red hot anchovies sauce fried with palm oil). compliment with hard boiled egg, cucumber, fried anchovies and fried peanut.
3-lontong, sticky cooked rice compressed until firm in texture. cut into small cube. eat with gravy call lodeh, coconut milk cook with all kind of vegetable base ingredients. among it, cabbage, peas, tempe and tauhu/tahoe (made from soy bean) and a bunch other.
4-simple fried rice with vegetables and chicken or beef.
5-fried noodles, small one we call bihun or the yellow and slightly bigger called mi (mee). fried with palm oil with leafy vegetables and chicken or beef or anchovies or prawn or even cuttlefish.
That's among the food eaten for breakfast here in Malaysia. If you want me to continue with lunch and dinner just tell me. OK.

I used to live outside of Philadelphia, and the best street vendor food was the Philly Soft Pretzels that they sold on the exit ramps as you came into the city. Mmm...so good! :)

Here In Tucson, AZ It's got to be Sonoran Hot Dogs.
It's a grilled hot dog wrapped with bacon, traditionally served with ketchup, mayo and a green chili salsa. Those colors are to represent the colors of the mexican flag. But, of course you can add any toppings you want

In California, we call them the "taco trucks". They have the BEST Mexican food and so cheap! I got the biggest burrito I've ever seen for $4 and it fed me for 2 days!
