Wetting the bed usually refers to urinating in bed whilst asleep and can be a condition that is usually contributed to young children normally triggred by nightmares or not being able to fully have control of their bladder. Although others can experience this at older ages and could be a weakness of the bladder and there are ways including incontinace pads to combat this.

Wet Dreams are a phenomenon that is attributed to males and females from the ages of 12 to around 15. For males Wet Dreams usually start to happen one year after males start producing semen and sperm can experience what is scientifically known as a "Nocturnal Emission" these usually happen with regular night time erections during REM sleep if a male hasn't experienced ejaculation or discovered masterbation. These can be accompanied by dreams usually but not exclusively erotic in nature that explains the feelings these can happen if there is a build up of semen and on occasion through accidental rubbing of sheets and pjamas.

In the english language, "bed wetting" refers to urinating while asleep, causing the bed to become wet with urine. This is sometimes a problem for young children, who are past the age of wearing diapers, but are not trained to control themselves while they are asleep. Bed wetting in children is not a serious problem and usually can be solved. Ask a doctor or nurse for advice if you have a child that does bed wetting.

As you write "I am a male"...I am wondering if you are actually intending to ask about something completely different, which in english is called "wet dreams". Wet dreams are emissions of semen, not urine, during sleep. This usually occurs in healthy adult men if no semen has been emitted during the hours the man is awake. Men produce semen continually and store it in their body for a while, but eventually it must flow out. If the man restrains himself always while he is awake, then it will flow out while he is asleep.
