I FEEL THE SAME, THINKING AND KNOWING THAT THERE IS A GOD GIVES US HOPE FOR A NEW LIFE, BETTER LIFE AND A WAY TO EASE OUR PAINS AN SORROW! IF I WAS TO DISCOVER THAT THEY WERE NO GOD, I WOULD DIE OF GRIEF! I MEAN WHO WILL WE TURN TO WHEN SOMEONE IS SICK? WHEN WE DO SOMETHING WRONG?WHEN WE NEED HOPE?
THE IDEA OF GOD, NO MATTER WHO HE IS BRINGS COMFORT AND HOPE IN OUR LIVES! ITS IS FOR PROPER ORDER OF SOCIETY!
LOVE SANAM

Heard this so many times from Christians around myself, and the statement sounds ignornat to me. I would rather live my life in my own way as long as it's not harmful to others and to enjoy life rather than to live through all these unnecessary constrains. No one really know what happens in the end, and the posted statement is based on that. One thing is that you are certain on whats going on in life, and while alive just focus on that. There maybe other stages after life, but worried about it when you are there. I simply believe that those who behave well (in general/not religious perspective) should not be punished and be sent to the so called hell.

I'd rather just live a good life without harm to others and feel that I have contributed to this planet....If there is a god then he will understand that I have always had the best intentions..if not then whatever.

One of the classic Christian arguments for why one ought be Christian. Fine.

I could use the same argument regarding to my Gods / Goddesses. Does that make you consider my religion?

My faith tells me that it is better to be honest than dishonest. Denying my gender identity is denying myself and lying to the world in which I live.

As someone else mentioned though, why post this in LGBT and not religion?

ekduin,
I think that I would rather know God, and really know. Since I am touched by His Spirit, I guess I cannot wish for anything else!

I think everyone should, too! That said, who's to say that the religions that we have here and now are truly God's will? That's the question . . .

You don't sound very faithful...

And I really have no idea what your point is.
