angel or star?all my life ive had an angel.we've had the same tree and angel in our family since my brother was a baby and he's 40 LOL.now that im married we dont use the tree even though my parents gave it to me.oddly enough i bought a new angel but my husband loved the old one lol

Same here, we've had that same angel as long as I can remember. Without her on top the tree wouldn't be the same.
She's a pretty white silky looking angel. I think your hubby's right. Keep the old one. =)

We have a angel that my hubby's mom had, we have always have used it. but I like having a star on, colorful one, I just bought one but if he can not part with the angel then at least the star can be put somewhere else other than the tree.

We have an angel, I picked it out when I was like 4 :) mwahaha, so it's stayed ever since it's porcelein-ish around the face and hands and has the prettiest dress and holds a light. If that were to break i'd probably cry since I haven't seen them make those anymore. Now I've only seen cheap toppers for trees.

When I was growing up, we always used a star. But when I moved in with my boyfriend and his family, they use an angel. It's pretty, but when I do my own tree I'll use a star again.

I like both so i change every year one i will have the star and the next i will have the angel.
