I had the same problem....my elbows were really bad. It totally went away after i bought a water purifying shower head....the dry and cracked elbows were totally gone after a week! and that was without using any lotions etc...Plus my hair and skin are so much softer as well....I can't live without it now. I have the number to a dealer that can drop ship to you if you are interested.

if moisturizers seem not to work on dry/cracked skin on your elbows, i suggest you apply either essential oils with the scent of your choice or for lesser value but same results baby oil. oil will give enough moisture on the dry part making it supple and softer.
though I wouldn't recommend you apply it on some other parts of your body, say the face, since it can clog pores. just pour a minimal amount on your palm before you massage it on the skin of your elbows. try it it might work...

use a different type of moisturizer. like pure lanolin, mineral oil or even shortening or vaseline, and use it 3 or 4 times a day. I have found that I sometimes have to use aveeno colloidal bath oil directly on my skin to get rid of cracked skin( I have allergies to many skin products) but a dry skin formual skin lotion seems to keep them away most of the time. Another thing is ti conciously try not to lean on your elbows, since thishelpsremove thenatural oils

I put baby oil on my elbows right after I get out of the shower, without drying off first...it helps the moisture stay in. After I'm dry, I apply lotion.
Staying hydrated is also a good idea..

hey. Okay. Well, you could try using vaseline, for the short term fix. But that prob will probably keep returning. So my humble advice for the permanent fix, is to drink tons and tons of water. See, the prob is more than likely that you don't have enough moisture in your body. You are prob burning off or depleting all of it with caffene. And when this happens, it shows in the skin. (keep in mind though, if you drink too much water, you could wash out the salt level in your system and feel kind of sick, or you could wash out the level of meds in your system if you are taking any at this time) good luck. seeya.

i just watched the TYRA show tonight, and they had a remedy for just what you asking for.
she, herself, did this, and so did the audiance.

they applied vegetable shortening "a form of crisco" to the elbow. took a sock with the toe removed. pulled the sock up over the hand and arm. making sure that the elbow is covered. suggested this be done when attiring for the night.

Drink tons of water. You are probably dehydrated. Either that or you have a skin disease that is so minor you think it's just dry skin. Consult a dermatologist.
