In Windows O/S. Is there any software to do this, without reinstalling the software?

yes, download software called 'Regmon' or Registry monitor.
each time you install a software, it will log all the changing and what registry has been access.

or you can 'save' the registry before installing the new software and compare it after installing the software with 'Ashampoo uninstaller' (if i'm not wrong)

Look and read the agreement part of the software before installing the software. Sometimes the software is going to ask to agree to an agreement before installing. There is also the option of viewing what is being installed into your computer. Meaning some softwares give you the option of just installing the typical installation of the program or the option of custom installation. View the custom installation before continuing installing the software.

Not that I know of. Aside from searching for keys that have a name or path to the installed program, if you're really trying to figure out what it does, you'd probalby need to run regmon, and do a reinstall.

get the company name and the software name and the version try giving a search on the regedit (registry editor). if you want to crack the trial version it's really difficult doing this way!
