I'm 25 and I think my skin doesn't look or feel the same as it used to before. Instead of a glow, it looks oily and very dull and tired. Normal skin creams don't help, so I am wondering if I can start using some anti-aging cream, eg. Avon Retroactive. Advice pls?

can u get addicted to anti aging creams, like once you start using them, you dont go back to normal skin creams? also what are the effects of starting to use them early on - does it really prevent wrinkles or will those still come but be delayed a little?

I usually recommend women start using anti-aging products around 30. But, everyone ages differently and some people 'need' them sooner while others 'need' them later. It's really about how you feel your skin looks.

Arbonne has a great anti-aging line for women. It gives amazing results!

Yes 25 is a good age to start using anti-aging products. It helps to delay the signs of age. If your skin is really oil, dull and tired, I would recommend Kiehls Abyssine Cream (info: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&Itemid=99999999&id=142)

It's all in one, it helps to hydrate, even out skin tone and energize your skin. It is a very early stage anti-age cream as well.

I am not worried about switching back to normal creams. I usually have a bit of expensive anti-aging cream in fall and winter and those less expensive but hydrating one in the spring and summer time, and I don't see any side effects with switching, so no worries!

it's never too early to protect your skin. Always wear at least
spf 15 moisturizer like neutrogena or oil of olay. They make oil free versions which are great for acne prone skin. I love the way it looks. At night you can just use an eye cream. I'm always experimenting with different brands. Also, put sunblock on your hands, especially if you drive a lot. This will keep your skin looking beautiful!

Your at a good age to keep your skin a good condition. You need to make sure that your cream doesn't have retinal in it, as this is for older skin (over 50) and it thins the skin. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water, and get a minium of 8 hours sleep.

Try one now.
Go get a facial and see what a beautician reccommends. Be honest up front and explain you can't afford to spend heaps but need a good skin care regime.
Sounds like at your age though, there might be other reasons for this. Your skin should still look very good at 25.
