usually make and this year it will be made as i'm going to be body painted with a bikini.

Always make it. Last year I threw a black opaque panty hose over my face, put on black sweat pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt. Then I took two mini mag lights and turned them on and stuck them behind my ears pointed forward. It looked like I had two glowing eyes but too far apart, on a blank black face. It scared the kids at Halloween so much they didn't want to approach me to get their candy. I felt kind of bad, so I talked to them to let them know a friendly person was behind there! The costume took me all of 5 minutes to throw on and was no extra cost.
One year I ripped up a big square section of an ivy patch, stuck my arms through it and put it on like a coat. I closed it in the front and tied it on with a rope. I had on black tights and wore 3 fig leaves on my head. I was "Live Oak Park". It took me all of 5 minutes, was free, and everyone loved it.

I enjoy being creative & unique so I make my own.
I won 1st place in a college contest.
I made a Coffin out of an old refridgerator box. I dressed as a
Vampire. And I used a sound of a door creaking inside.
I think it's great to make your own anything whenever possible.

I liked to wear store bought big ugly rubber masks with various shades of green, brown, yellow, and with a goofy nose, and plenty of worts/wrinkles/messy hair. You cant go wrong with one of these combinations. Its easy to throw on/off with any outfit and is a definite crowd pleaser. Not often original, but not many costumes are.

sometimes buy sometimes make this year im being a punk rock star chick from the eighties ive got torn fish net stockings big earrings a hoop belt im going to spray some of my hair blue and i have a short blue jean skirt that has all kinds of 80's band names all over it and cool designs

second i always made mine. Haven't been in the costume thing in a long time. but loved it when my kid was small. He always got best costume at school, so I guess i did okay.

I find prefabricated costumes so FAKE! I like when people use their creativity and make one themselves. Plus , how many Pirates do you really want to see again this year!
