Yes. I think it is a way for the players and fans to share in the joy of a goal being scored.

Yes, they should run towards the audience/cameras, take their shirt off, grab their bulge, and then hug eachother, rolling in the grass frenchkissing and buttgrabbing.

That's the only right way to do it as far as I'm concerned.
