Freddy Vs Jason was planned since "Jason Goes To Hell" when Freddy grabs his mask.....but how are they continuing this?! i would love to see leprechaun vs chuckie.......they're both baby dudes and both have something funny to say......how bout yall? who would ya like to see battle it out?!

since i've answered this one oh about 100 times you really should just search for the answer.
But here's what was said when they were first trying to figure out what to do.
THey had about a dozen ideas for Freddy vs Jason. One and i kind of would like to see this still happen, was that they were tired of trying to make sequel after sequel for so many slasher films, so they decided they wanted a way to retire charectors once and for all (this is still what their thinking in a way).
The first idea was that Jason and Freddy along with Chucky, Michael Myers, Pin Head, Leatherface and all the others are in hell now. And they would fight it out. Who ever lost each battle was officaily retired as a slasher.
Dont know what the other ideas were but then they made Freddy Vs Jason.
Now i hear they want to do Freddy Vs Jason 2, but bring in someone like Michael Myers or someone to join the fight. and the loser (if they keep to the plan A for the sequel) will be retired.
there are also rumors of more sequels with the same concept but between each of the slashers.
