I was a waiter in San Diego, and was called into the room service office from the restaurant at the Marriott to help with a large order. The persone being served was a GM of Mariott and he was staying at the hotel.
When I got up to his floor, I had 2 carts full of food. Apparently the man that was working regular shifts on that floor was pissed that they asked me to serve the GM, and when I went to the service elevator to get the 2nd cart of food...he wrote his name in the tips recievable box. That way he would get the tip for my work.
I wasn't about to let that happen. When the GM opened his room door I immediately brought the food in uninvited, and acted rude and obnoxious. I told him how to get the Playboy channel, and that my name was the name of the other waiter.
Later that night he was fired.
He only had 2 choices:
1) admit he was stealing tips, and I commited the shenanigans.
or
2) admit to being a rude waiter
Either way he was history.

We had this guy that worked at my office and would only show up when he felt like it, well the management put up with it for a long time, but the last time, which finally caused them to fire him was when he took 2 days off (Oct 31 and Nov 1) without calling in or letting any of us know. When he finally returned on Nov 2, he said that he thought that since Halloween was a national holiday and Nov 1 was a church day we would be closed both days. He had worked with us for 3 years and knew we were not closed. He was told not to return Nov. 3.

We had this guy that labored at my place of work and can in easy terms take place while he felt like it, properly the administration placed up with it for an prolonged time, however the final time, which finally led to them to fireside him became while he took 2 days off (Oct 31 and Nov a million) without calling in or letting any human beings be responsive to. while he finally returned on Nov 2, he reported that he theory that when you consider that Halloween became a countrywide trip and Nov a million became a church day we'd be closed the two days. He had labored with us for 3 years and knew we weren't closed. He became informed to no longer return Nov. 3.

my craziest, was when a coworker, was p i s s e d off at the boss, he wanted to get fired anyhow, so he went into her office, at the same time that a client was in there, and he walked into her office w/ everything off but his shirt,,, wow was she suprised,,!!!!
the funniest was, when we had a coworker, who said he was really ill, and said his doctor put him on bed rest,, so the owner believed him,, later that night, the coworker, was at a local club,, he was dancing hard w/ this hot chick and they went home and had sex and all,,,, come to find out the next day this girl talked to her aunt and told of this cute fun guy she met ,,, as the story went along,, the man came into work to get his check acting all sick,, the girl had gone to the bathroom,, and then re entered the office,, only to see the man from last night standing there,, she said hi and he said it back ,,, the owner asked the girl did she know him ,, and she said yeah, thats the guy!!! the owner, said OH, ok,,, and said heres your check youre fired, now get out of my office,,,!!!! IT WAS THE OWNERS NIECE !!!! go figure!!

Not very funny, but certainly crazy, my husband was once fired for wanting to come to the hospital to watch his first child be born.
