The reason why people switch hands while using a fork and knife is because back in the day when people didn't have money, they would cut their meat with their right hand, then pass the knife around, and switch the fork in the left hand to the right hand to eat it that way. That's why some people cut their meat like that. Didja ever notice that?
Rich people don't switch hands, cause well, their rich.
The term raining like cats and dogs came from when people had straw for roofs, or dirt, basically whatever they had around to hold up their roofs. When it was hot, the cats and dogs would go up on the roofs, and when the roofs were strained with the weight, the roof would collapse, and down came the cats and dogs.

Tony Blair came into power in 1997 and is the youngest PM in recent history to win 3 consecutive general elections for the Labour Party. I think he is also one of the only PMs in a long time to have a child while he was in office. His youngest child Leo is about 6 now.

If you can believe it, instead of the graceful and powerful American Bald Eagle, Benjamin Franklin actually proposed that the turkey be the Official National Bird of the United States. Thank God his proposal was rejected.
