In yahoo messenger im sorry to say but there is no such option of know ing whether the specified person ignored u or not...however in msn chat it is possible..if u being blocked in msn then msn system informs u that u r blocked by this or that person..but in yahoo u have no such facility...u will keep sending msgs and other will recieve none.......chaoo

If you right click on their name and choose "view profile" you will be able to see if they are signed on. If the user doesn't have that option available and is hidden to everyone on the Internet, then it won't work, but it's a shot.
