also, if you know which platform has the best graphics compared to the other ones, if you could give the statistical info on the graphics that would be great so i can see just how much better one is from the other. or if you could supply a link to a page that would have that info because ive tried googling it and looking it up on yahoo and i cant find anything

No unfortunetly the Wii isn't on par with the ps3 and 360 in the horsepower department.

PS3 and 360 are almost the same in quality of graphics, with PS3 being slightly higher, but not much to notice too much of a difference. Also both of these systems should be supporting 1080p hdtv (ps3 also supports blueray which is even better). at the most the Wii can support 480p and progressive scan.

I can't really tell you the magnitude of how better the graphics of 360 and ps3 are when compared to the Wii, but all I can tell you is that from ign, they did recently release the Wii's specs. The Wii has 1.5X more horsepower in cpu and graphics then its predecessor, Gamecube which is enough to see a big notable difference.

First let me say: Good graphics do *not* make a good game. I still enjoy the classic Doom on my Xbox 360, which has clunky graphics, but is serious fun with multiple players.

However to answer your question: The PS3 and Xbox are both High Definition capable consoles, which means you can get resolutions up to 1080p. However: you need a HD Television to take advantage of the consoles Graphics. Also bear in mind: most HD Televisions are currently able to output "only" 720p and 1080i.

Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are almost identical concerning graphics.

The Wii is basically a slightly modified GameCube and has the least graphical power of the three. If you don't have a HD TV you will barely notice a difference to PS3 or Xbox 360.
However the Wii has the most interesting control feature, which has possibly the most promising fun factor while playing games.

As I said before: Good graphics don't make a good console. Its in the games, where the fun comes from.
So on PS3 you will at first get games that have been done before (Ridge Racer again etc.) or are available on the Xbox 360. If you wait - say a year or so, you will have a greater library of PS3 titles that are more promising than the current lineup. Also the console will probably have had a price drop.

The Xbox 360 has currently the best "Next Gen" game lineup and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy.

The Wii has the strongest potential to make gaming different with games that aren't possible on any of the other consoles.

There is no single best console. It depends what Games *you* like. However in my personal opinion: If it has to be HD gaming, get an Xbox 360. After a price drop the PS3 will gt interesting, too, if more unique games for this platform come out.
And if you are bored with the current way how games are played and are a party animal with friends that enjoy playing games with you, get the Wii.

I've got no stats for you, but I have your answer. The PS3 has the highest processing power of the three. Next, the XBox 360, and then the Nintendo Wii. Although, the Wii has the lesser power of the two,.it'll be the one I'll be getting. Graphics for the Wii are slightly improved from the Xbox. Hope it helps!!!

Nintendo is only one not going HD for its next generation console. Nintendo wii graphic will probably equivalent to older xbox may be slightly better. PS3 offers most advanced graphics with higher capacity blue ray dvd.

The PS3 and X-Box 360 will be about the same for Graphics.
They will continue to sell complex and very involving games.

Nitendo seems to have a knack for making games that are simple and fun, There hardware will not measure up to the former 2 but their new style of controler seems to suggest a lot of possibilities that you will not see in the Xbox or ps3.
