well it depends on like if its just me and i were single with no husband or kids, well then id wouldn't mind about taking on a high-resp. job( assuming its going to be time consuming as well) but when i get older and married and all of that i might consider the modest income job that's on a more family oriented level and would leave me time to look after the children take care of the house and my spouse...but then again if i took a job making more money i could make more money and retire early

Personally I would love a high responsibility, big income job...once again...lol...

it is hard work, the rewards are good but it means you have to be really flexible in todays ever-changing markets!
Really it depends upon your own personal motivation, your goals and basically on what you want out of life.

However, I am not working now due to illness, so I would be more than willing to take a low-responsibility modest-income job! Where are they all! Btw, I live in Switzerland-

High responsability for a few years and save as much money to invest and then a low responsability.
