It seems insulting to people who are actual goths, 24/7. Stereotypical and all that. (And why do 'goth' costumes always have to be sexy?) Why not go to a thrift store and buy some nice clothes, take them home, and customize them? Cheap, personal, DIY.

ironic, cause goth's don't go out of their way to be sexy. You can try being a sexy bum. Just wear some dirty clothes, cut it up a little to show some flesh, and just don't wash yourself for a day or two, it'll give you that sexy stinky feel. People will notice you! Good luck.

My fiancee and I have had this discussion many times. We both find it funny that women always want to be "sexy" for halloween. It's as if they can't stand the thought that someone might find their costume funny. I think it shows extremely low self esteem. Be original. Go as a damned teletubby.

Yeah, "Sexy Goth Girl" is the way I am going this Halloween. But then, I have no self respect, either.

Shake it up by adding a stereotype, like "Goth cheerleader" or "Goth French maid" or "Goth pageant queen". The possibilities are endless and you'll be distinctive!
