I don't expect my man to pay. We usually pay equal shares if one of us hasn't offered to take the other one out. I think women that expect their men to pay for everything are hypocrites. Women expect to be treated equally with men in the workplace, and want the housework to be shared equally - why then do they expect the men to uphold these traditions such as ladies first, men should pay, men should make the first move etc? I think whoever asks the other one on a date should expect to pay, then once the relationship is established it should be assumed that both will pay equally. Of course my whole theory falls apart when applied to single income couples, but obviously I'm talking about couples who have independent and relatively equal incomes.

I don't know any women who expect the man to always pay. Maybe you are only going out with gold diggers.

if a woman is willing to allow a man to pay than that means that she is willing to give something up in today's world of equality and political correctness that is .

I think everything should be 50/50 in a relationship, but if you are dating casually, and you're asking the girl out then you should pay.

Sometimes is okay. I guess the age of chivalry is over. I don't envy young adults in the dating scene today. My generation rarely paid, but things are different today I guess.
