I let my daughter get on Myspace on my PC,(Bad Dad), I don't like her on it. Everybody and their dog are on it, how do I eliminate that possibility running IE7?

Well done you!! I think My Space is a dreadful website and should be totally banned.

Go to download.com and have a look at the parental control programs available.

This is a sure fired way to gaurantee your daughter WILL be on myspace. Judging form your question your daughter already knows more about the internet than you do. Give Up. If you did your job raising a decent child, you won;t have to worry about anything bad or dangerous coming from myspace.

Might i recommend instead getting your own myspace, and constantly talking about myspace, leaving comments on her page and adding all her friends? If you think myspace rocks ( or your daughter thinks you think that) she will drop it like a hot potato.

It depends how old/mature she is. There's some really bad stuff on there that no young teen should see, and there's no way they can control it. 16 should probably be the min. age.

If she says, "But Dad, all my friends are on it". You can have her set her profile to private so only her friends can see her. Unfortunatly, that way blocks you too, if you want to check on her profile without her knowing. Which is probably a good idea, you'll find out alot about what she probably doesnt tell you.
