i have a felony for robbery i am now 21 and a freshman in college i feel like giving up school because i think with a degree i still wont find a good job with a felony am i right to think this can istill bcome a doctor the felony is for robbery i would like to become a vet

Some careers stipulate that you can not have any record,but you can apply after 10 years to have the conviction dissmissed , well i am talking Australia here, so i suppose that depends where you are from.I assume you are from the USA, so there will also be different laws for some states.I knew someone who had a criminal record that became a lawyer.I should not imagine that one felony is going to make a difference as long as you dont committ others, it would be seen as a mistake that you learnt from.you can ask in the law section of answers and you might find out more.

dont give up, how old were you when you were convicted? check to see if you can get it expunged, im not sure about robbery but in some cases, you can get it expunged for a certain price.

Dint give up on yourself stay in school, achieve your dreams and work on getting your record expunged....Judge Mathis did it...you can too. Good Luck
