because guys think they are pretty. The last guy I dated was into the made up look. I am a natural beauty and he didn't ever appreciate me. He always went on about chicks with lots of make up and hair dyed blonde being hot no matter how ugly they were.

Maybe they're compensating by wearing too much makeup. I know a lot of grown women who are beautiful with no makeup, but refuse to believe they look good without it. It's a self-esteem issue women have that starts out from feeling ugly at a young age and some just never get over it I guess.

people can't help what they "naturally" look like. They may be ugly to you but pretty to someone else. They wear the makeup because they feel prettier in it. Not very many people are naturally beautiful without some makeup. Don't hurt their feelings.

Make-up is an art, and many women love to wear makeup simply to express their artistic talent...stop hating...allow people to believe whatever they want about themselves, and you should have nothing to say about it. My question in response to yours is why do so many ugly girls NOT wear make up...they could be so much prettier if they just showed some effort...stupid girls.

b/c thats what the people around them make them think...i used to be like that until i met my baby! now i know im perfect without all that junk(plus im too lazy now to do my hair everyday and spend all that money on makeup!!) but ill still splurge on some fancy clothes =0)

didn't they talk about this on Tyra today? they just need to make themselves feel better..and probably don't even have a personality..so basically, they need something...and maybe tons of makeup plastered on an unflattering mug does a person good

They use the make-up as a mask. They are not happy with their god-given faces, so they paint one on that looks pretty to them, but maybe scary to us. It' really sad, actually.

They probably think that they look more better with lots of make up. I agree less make up is better.
