Buttonhook (im a truck driver). Ill also add it is illeagle and very annoying for other motorists.

The rear wheels take the shortest route on the turn, so if the truck does not take the turn in an excellent manor, the rear wheels (and the truck body) will be reducing the turn to close! The trailer will take a instantly line route, particularly than following the truck interior an same tracks!

They called it "borrowing" the other lane when I was in training. And ignore the buttonhook. Ive heard the term but Im sure that it refers to something else.
