Not in a sexist way of thinking that a woman would be better. Think of it in the way that no matter how you look at women go about things and think differently then men. Just to see how it would go would you agree or disagree?

Ok First Clinton is not the woman in mind. People this is not rocket science. I could sit here and tell that she is a great canidate and just make up a person to amuse you. It is the thought that would you or would you not want a woman in office.

Very strongly agree.

The UK had one of their strongest leaders when they voted in Margret Thatcher. She turned the country around from a strike ridden country with a failing economy to a robust and dynamic country that has done far better than the rest of Europe since those years.

Although she was hated towards the end of her term...

I agree.......wholeheartedly!

I truly believe a woman president may bring some sense back to a US that has drunken itself on pure stupidity in many areas...... politics, foreign policies, business ethics, human rights.......n personal freedom!

But......agian I agree with you.........forget about H. Clinton. Not that I believe she would be stupid enough to enjoy oral sex in the oval office..........but she is an old movie that has been run over & over again.........n she has nothing new to offer.

Condo Rice is a clearly good & eligible candidate........but let us take the racial bit out of politics.........let Rice win by her own merits.........n NOt because she is an African-American candidate.

Why would people keep saying its high time that a 'black' should be president............how come nobody say its high time a Red Indian...........should become president?

I am sure a 'Big Running Bull' with courage, integrity, morality & good human sense........is worth a bus load of all those stupid clowns from the Republican or Democratic circuses!

Isn't it enough to look back at people who are morally corrupt...... oral sex in high office........enticing young pages for gay sex........ etc. n say they have to go!

May be........its indeed the right time...... to have a lady president for the mighty USA.

May be........just may be...... I would vote for Monica Lewinsky..

How can anyone answer this question "not in a sexist way"? You give no information about this hypothetical woman, or how she compares to the hypothetical man she's running against.
A woman president instead of a Democrat? I'll vote for her. A woman president instead of a convicted child abuser? Sure. A less qualified woman instead of a more qualified man? No way.

In theory, I have absolutely no problem with a woman president. However, in actual practice, I have a recurring nightmare where the Democrats run Hillary Clinton and blow the 2008 election. She's not the right candidate, she has way too much baggage, and I don't much care for her politics or her namby-pamby sucking up to Bush.

Yes in theory, no in the most likely scenario.

If she is good enough to do it, then fine. When a woman is the leader of the free world, however, we should understand that she is gonna be tested by leaders of other countries. When that happens, she needs to leave her compassion and maternal instinct at home, and do what needs to be done (go to war if neccesary) If she is controlled by an overwhelming sense of compassion and desire for peace, she'll get walked on.

A woman would get bribed by sex? Please. Let's talk about sex scandals. The names Tom Foley, Bill Clinton, John Kennedy and Franklin Roosevelt come to mind.

I think we should have a GOOD president. (For a change.) I don't care if it's a man or a woman. Just give us someone who thinks. (For a change.)

That said, I think a woman would be a refreshing change of pace. And nowadays, I think the country is crying out for a change. (For a change.)
