I love his performance in "Schindler's List". Spielberg refers to Stern as the conscience of the film. I also can't stop watching him in "The House of Sand and Fog"; he is such a complex man, full of contradictions. For an underrated performance, see his very interesting job in "Death and the Maiden".

You need to rent Ghandi. I think that was his greatest role. He won an oscar for that. I did like House of Sand and Fog as well. Unusual movie, but it got the point across.

I was going to say Gandhi straight away, then remembered Sexy Beast.........he was bloody scary in that, its a great flick, Ray Winston good in it too.
