The question I asked is should I quit Yahoo Community. They posted a question that lead to my profile and sent me hateful messages. Also my family if finds out that I am on Yahoo Answers is not going to like it. So should I quit.

No your religious beliefs have no bearing on whether or not you should participate in yahoo. You have the right to religious freedom. Do not be discouraged by a few immature answers. Most adults will respect anyone who is respectful to them...Freedom is not merely the opportunity to do as one pleases; neither is it merely the opportunity to choose between set alternatives. Freedom is, first of all, the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them -- and then, the opportunity to choose. Keep your head up.

No, you should not quit. It can be hard to receive negative feedback about your opinions, and it can be upsetting.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I would encourage you to share yours. People that send you hateful messages and just big bullies.

I would not like to see you leave the Yahoo answers community.

i think you should keep it up but manage ur time for ur family also...about defending ur religionious believe, its o.kay to defend....u should not pass such comments on others religions which could be offensive to participants.

u better learn ur religion and then other religions campare it urself...rather offending others...n don't ever say bad things about other religions bcoz they might come back with such hatful comment about ur religionious beleive...
Every body thinks that their religion is the Best....

It's perfectly okay to DEFEND your own religion, especially when it it being attacked. But don't preach to people - they may get offended, and don't make belittling remarks about people who don't agree with you.
Everyone is different - if you want to be respected then you must respect others.
