Game making?

Me and a friend of mine are trying out Mugen, a fighting game maker. The only problem is, we don't know how to rip sprites.
Does anyone have a program we can use, and explain how to use it?

Use Flash 8 this might help.

Get a screen capturing utility or if you want to Rip sprites from Arcade Fighting games use MAME and step through the emulation, making a screenshot at each frame.
Then load the screenshots into your favourite image editing program and edit the sprites out of the background.
Then add the movements together, depending on the MUGEN Engine.
