some of you answered on my last question that Buddy hibernates in the winter, my question is since he is inside in a warm house will he still hibernate since it is that time of the year or does he need to feel the cold to let him know that it is time? I hope you know what I mean.

You are correct. It's temperature that will send him into hibernation, or not. It's not necessary that the hibernate. In captivity we keep them warm enough and food is provided so that they don't need to.
Leave a UV lamp on for 12 hours a day and he should be warm enough to stay awake all winter.
