Bears, Colts, Seahawks, Patriots.

Bears offense is a bit shaky but their defense is rather unstoppable if you've seen any of their games.

The Colts are the best offensive team in my opinion, they are just too dangerous.

The Seahawks are doing this well without Shaun Alexander and now Matt Hasselback. Alexander comes back in two weeks, as does Hasselback. Not to mention, they've got a soft schedule.

Patriots? They are especially dangerous this year on both sides of the ball, possibly the most balanced team in my opinion.

New England will beat Chicago, 21-17

Chicago:
Once Grossman got rolling, they have been potent on offense.
Their defense is killer, especially during a MNF game in which virtually all of Chicago's points were scored by the defense. A perfect season is possible. Only time will tell.

Indianapolis:
The Colts have a weak defense. But thats where the offense and the high powered arm of Manning comes in and makes up for the deficit. The pass attack is huge but the run game is weak. Manning can no longer choke in the playoffs. If he doesn't get a Superbowl, he'll retire a lot sooner.

Philadelphia:
McNabb is as good as Manning but has a run game and a defense to support him. McNabb is mobile, not as mobile as Vick, but up there. His passing yards are in the 2000s already and it's only week 7. If they get to the playoofs, McNabb needs to settle down and focus; his time management in the Superbowl against the Patriots was horrific.

Denver:
With an unstoppable defense (points allowed 44)and a mediocre offense, look for them to stop a big team. Their beating of the Ravens proved that they are more than able to shut down the run and the pass. Need to improve on the other side of the ball though.

New England:
As much as I hate to admit it, the Patriots will be in the playoffs again. Brady is a solid QB, and even though now he doesn't have the recievers he had in the 3 Superbowls he won, he's making it happen. Defense is solid.

New Orleans:
The return of the Saints to the Superdome sparked a win streak. McCallister and Bush are big threats. Brees is making an impact on this team.

Atlanta:
Just when we think that all Vick can do is run the ball, he gives us a performance against Pittsburgh that blows us away. Now he can run and throw. They will make the playoffs with more games like that.

Seattle:
Losing Alexander was a blow. Now they've lost Hasselback. They are doing better than the reinging Superbowl champs. They fell apart after Hasselback fell out, now they must regroup. Look for some big plays when Alexander comes back.

NY Giants:
After their thrashing of Dallas on MNF, they are looking good. Tiki Barber is as good as running back as you could ask for and their defense shut down TO.

Cinninati:
After starting out perfect, they've tripped up a few times. But now they're back on track. The Jonhson's are making an impact on the offensive side.

San Diego:
LT has to be the best running back in the league right now. He can run better than anyone. The 2 games they have lot have been by a margin of 3 points or fewer. Defense is great (PA 85).

Hmm.

The Elite Eight

AFC
Cincy Bengals
Baltimore Ravens
San Diego Chargers
Indy Colts

NFC
Chicago Bears
Philly Eagles
Carolina Panthers
Dallas Cowboys (hell, I can dream!)

Final Four

AFC

Bengals/Colts

NFC

Chicago Bears/Dallas Cowboys

Super Bowl

Bears/Bengals

Or perhaps the Giants will do something, and go all the way. (What? I have a soft spot for Tiki! lol)

4 obvious ones:
Patriots winning AFC East for sure so that one is a lock
I think you will absolutly see the Bears, Panthers and Colts in the mix.
For the Superbowl:
Patriots 28 vs Bears 17
Brady will have 2 tds, Dillion will have 1 and Harrison will have an int on that little twit Grossman, and bring it back for a TD

I have been picking 80% winners in both college and nfl football, I have recorded all of the picks in an excel sheet, so I can prove my record to you. I hit 10 out of 11 on a parlay last week, the only one I lost was Louisville -17.5....they won by 15. That was a 5 dollar parlay to win 3000. This week I will hit all 11. Email me at jtabone@mail.usf.edu and I will give you my picks this weekend for free

Teams that have a chance to make the playoffs.....in no particular order:
Colts, Bears, Giants, Cowboys, Buccaneers, Eagles, 49ers (yea, i know), Bengals, Ravens, Patriots, Chargers, Broncos, Saints, Rams, Vikings...I may have missed a few.

I'll predict the Superbowl to be San Diego and New Orleans (yea, I know....i bet no one else is predicting that..but I thought..ah, they're both contending teams). Oh, and the score: 24-17 Chargers.

Bears, Rams, Seahawks, Eagles, Giants and Saints in the NFC.
Colts, Broncos, Chargers, Bengals, Patsies and Steelers in the AFC.

All of these teams are well coached with playmakers on both sides of the ball.

NFC Championship: Bears over Eagles
AFC Championship: Colts over Broncos
Super Bowl: Indy 24, Chicago 20

Of course, all teams need to stay healthy.

Bears for sure. NFC North is weak and they are good. Decent but streaky offense and stellar defense.

Broncos. Crap offense but tremendous D.

Patriots. Always a solid team. Good offense, good defense but not really terrific in any one area.

Colts. Excellent offense, but their defense is generous and gives up a lot of points.

Super Bowl? I'm thinking Bears from NFC and Colts or Broncos from AFC. Final score will be 17-10 Bears because the Super Bowl will probably be all defense and boring as hell.

From the AFC the Colts and the Bears

From the NFC the Panthers and the Giants

Not my favorite teams by any stretch (so no bias here) .... just what I'm predicting.
