Can anyone guide me to a decent hotel in Chennai that would be in the range of 500 +/- 50 per day?

A couple of my friends from Gujarat are travelling to TN and want to assist them from CBE!

You can try decent lodges in Egmore, T.Nagar or Vadapalani (Pandiyan Lodge, Vadapalani which is also nearer to Koyambedu Bus Stand).

Try the Bus stand instead
